  1. What is a Canker Sore? Canker sores are basically shallow and small ulcers that basically appear in the mouth and makes talking and eating difficult and uncomfortable. There canker sores are not contagious, and these sores do not appear on the surface of lips. These sores are basically caused due to acidic or spicy food, vitamin deficiency, stress, and injury in the mouth. Canker sores usually disappear in one or two weeks, but if it persists for a longer time, then you must consult a doctor for Canker Sore Treatment.
