New ID Requirements • For the first time, voters need to present identification to be allowed to vote — and that's presenting a problem for some. • In order to vote in the upcoming municipal elections, voters were required to provide proof of their name and home address. • There are 19 different types of identification voters could have presented at their polling station. • Those include utility bills, bank statements or a driver's license.
Voter Turn Out Voter turn out was impressive with long lines and a great deal of patience.

School Trustees • What is a school trustee? • The trustee, as a representative of the people, is a decision-maker, one who must integrate the information from all the forces which impact on trustees, process that information, evaluate it, and make a decision compatible with his/her own beliefs, values, and knowledge. • Sylvia Eggerer retains her seat for Ward 3 with 2485 votes. Todd Brand second with 966.
