What to study • Field of study? • Technology (food, civil engineering, water, mining, mineralogy, chemistry, renewable energy, pharmaceutical) • Development (regional, rural, infrastructure, environment) • Social (gender, human rights, social worker, sexuality, health care, education) • Finance (acturial science, modelling,housing mortgage, securities)

  5. Should you become AusAID scholar • Prepare YOURSELF (cultural shock, networking) • Bring your family at least one semester later • Start looking for an accomodation • Get FULL medical check-up (dental, gyno, ultrasound) • Learn extra skills (hairdressing, driving, cycling…)

  6. What to pack • Old clothing • Traditional costumes • Comfortable shoes • Old laptop /loan/ • Flash drive • Cultural events!!! Beware 20kg + 3kg.

  7. Plan B: • ENGLISH /written/ • Choose carefully a field of study • Meet University requirements • Develop Study Plan/Research Proposal • Be socially active • Be proactive DON’T GIVE UP!!!!
