Microvascular Doppler • The Microvascular Doppler has become a necessary intraoperative tool for the neurosurgeon. • With the real-time evaluation of vessels, surgeons can perform a safer and more cost-effective microvascular procedure, lessening the need for intraoperative angiograms. • The purpose of the microvasculardoppler is to interrogate the microvascular vessels and therefore, ideal for use in neurosurgical procedures

How Does ItWork? • Using a miniature probe tip and a high operating frequency, the system sends out a tightly focused signal. • This signal imparts a level of precision needed by the neurosurgeon to continue with the surgical procedures. • The probes are sterilisable using ETO / Sterrad methods  and also have certain usage guidelines, ensuring patient safety and removing the chances of probe failure due to reprocessing.
