  2. You became a disciple of Jesus Christ. • Matt. 28:18-19 Apostles commissioned, make disciples. • Acts 11:26 Jesus’ disciples are called Christians. • Acts 2:37-38, 40, 41, 47 • Baptized, remission of sins, saved. • Added to their number, church. You became a Christianwhen you were baptized.

  3. You were saved. • Mk. 16:16 Believe, baptized, saved. • Acts 2:38 Forgiven. • Acts 22:16 Sins washed away. Rev. 7:14Sins washed away in Jesus’ blood. • 1 Pet. 3:20-21 Baptism now saves us. Through water, like Noah.

  9. When you were baptized: • You became Jesus’ disciple. • Added to His church. • You were saved – forgiven. • You were born again – spiritual birth • You were crucified, buried, raised, made alive. • Your conscious was cleansed. • You became a child of God.
