Globalization & Digitalization Globalization • Globalization was and is a key aspect and driver of business evolution. • Globalization means increasing organizational complexity, increased uncertainty in decision finding, increased speed of changes in the markets – a natural or political desaster in far east can have an immediae impact on the production and sales in Europe. • Globalization means also to face the challenge of an intercultural corporate environment where strength have to be used but standards to be observed. • Digitalization means an increased demand in systems, technologies and expertise to face • The challenges and opportunities of globalization and • The to manage the nearly exponential growth of data caused by the digitalization itself (IoT, Social Media, ...) • Digitalization means also an increased effort in finding the right people for the right job and increased and continous efforts in system maintenance and employee training to ensure always a smooth and continous transformation. Digital transformation and talents • Digital transformation shall mean here the transition from analog, physical information into digital information (transition) as well as the shift existing digital information from one system or platform into another system or platform. To manage the digital transforma-tion and by this the business evolution, businesses need Talents. • Talents are high-school absolvents or young university graduates released in the labour market. Today the requirements towards the high-schools absolvents or young graduates are high and differ from industry to industry specially if it is about to face the digital transformation. To identify and develop talents Crystal works with public universities to attract, educate, select, hire – for Crystal as well as for Crystal’s client’s The selected talents are then educated in the Crystal Academy to prepare them for service delivery to support Crystal clients in their digital challenge on the road to their success. 10

Accelerated Talent Generation Model Open to our customers • All talent performs a minimum of 3 years study (economic, computer and engineering sciences) • In average over 200 students are trained by Crystal and the University over a 3 month period • We hire 30 to 50 of the best for Crystal or its client’s • We then provide specialised training based on our delivery experience from classical ERP development, BI & Anlaytics, Automation up to AI & ML • We continually invest in our talent to ensure they are qualified for the work they will be completing

The „acceleration“ in the Crystal model • Crystal System is not waiting for the university graduates! • Crystal System is making steps towards the students in the universities. • Crystal System is offering courses in the universities while the talents are still studying in their last semester(s). Offering internships accompanying the university curricula and by this Crystal ensures the transformation from „Student“ to „Talent ready to work“. • To ensure that the talents always will match the requirement of business evolution, Crystal is in continous contact with its clients, universities and markets to adapt its educational programe to business needs.

Crystal – Inclusive Learning • In multiple discussions and conferences between Cristal System and the business one of the most articulated require-ments found is the request to offer multi-disciplinary course. • Objective of the multi-discplinary courses is to make each discipline to understand better the other disciplines. • By this it shall be ensured that later on, in the business, the CFO understands what the Data-Scienties is speaking about and the Engineer understands what the CFO is expecting from him.

KM and Intelligent Process Visualization (IPV) • Like many other Business Processes too also Knowledge Management, Business Process under-standing and Teaching & Learning are facing huge challenges to reducetime to market in the sense of time to get ready to work. • In many discussions with universities, clients and businesses Crystal System has learned and understood, that nowadays nobody has the time and spirit to read 150 pages or more about business processes, endless lists of query tickets in the application management or thick books of documentations. • In some business the employee fluctuation rate is about 20% - 30% per year. Taking a corporation with 2.000 employees in average it would mean to train per year 400 till 600 employees on the corporates processes, products and services per year or 30 – 50 employees per month. This can turn a corporation more into a „school“ than keeping it competitve in the market. • Crystal System has understood and is investing and developing in an Intelligent Process Visualization and Complex System Documentation tool for Documentation, Application Management Services and Educational Purposes.
