National park ofHighTatras TANAP • It is the oldest national park in Slovakia • It consist of the highest mountain ranges of the Carpathian mountains • This park is visited by nearly five million visitors every year • There is a huge networkof hiking trails with total length about 600 km • Together with the Polish Tatrasit is an UNESCO Reservation
National park ofLowTatras NAPANT • It is situated on the territory of BanskáBystrica, Žilina, Prešov • The Park was founded in 1978 • An area of 1 830 km² • The highest peak is Ďumbier 2 043 m. n. m. • There are four Slovak river : Váh, Hron, Hnilec a Hornád
Pieniny • A national park in Slovakia, on the border with Poland and Ukraine • The Park is located in the Snina district in the Prešov region • The Park wasfounded 1997 • Anareaof 298 km² • The highest peak is Kremenec 1 221 m. n. m. • The national park is open all year round
Poloniny • It is a national park in north-eastern Slovakia • Itislocated inthe Bukovské vrchy mountain range, which belongs to the Eastern Carpathians • The parkwas created on 1 October 1997 • Protectedareais298.05 km² • The highest point lies at 1,208 m, Kremenec • Fortouriststhere are manyhikingpaths
