  3. National network in Sweden • Swedish Radon Association Is an association for all companiesworking in the radon field in Sweden. It was founded 2011 and it is more or less a demand from municipialities that everybody is a member. Today 55 companiesaremembers. The reasonwasthat the Swedish RadiationSafetyAuthority (SSM) stoppedwith handling the official lists ofprofessionals in the radon field. The association has the possibility to exclude members due to misconduct.

  4. Accreditation • Swedac is Sweden´s national accreditationbody • There is totally 8 companiesaccreditatedaccording to ISO/IEC 17025 in Sweden • Air = 3 • Dose = 3* • Water = 4 • Construction products and aggregate materials = 1

National network in Sweden • Qualitycontrolfunctions • Sweden’s national accreditation body – Swedac is the organ that verifies the accreditated laboratories. • Sweden’s National Board for Housing, Building and Planning (Boverket) is the controlling organ for construction materials and the producers. • Swedish Radon Association is controlling the non accreditatedcompaniesworkingwithremedies. • Otherwise it is the ordinarylaw system that the business and it´scustomers has to relay on.
