Take Home Message... 1. The world is changing. So should curriculum. So should our teaching. 2. Technology is not the answer to everything. Sometimes its the problem. Use it appropriately. Teach your students to use it appropriately. But don't pretend it doesn't exist. 3. Skills are no good without content. Content is no good without skills. Don't just teach learning, teach innovation. 4. We give our students grades. Be ready to give yourself a grade. Try to improve. 5. Play around with different lesson plans/technology. Try bits at a time. Change one lesson a month....or a semester. Don't get discouraged. Be nice to yourself.
