RED ROAD. Expansive modern schemes were built on the outskirts of the city at Easterhouse , Drumchapel , Castlemilk and Pollok Our example is Red Road. Large scale relocation however has been less successful. The high rise flats are/were not attractive for people to live in.

Expansive modern schemes were built on the outskirts of the city at Easterhouse, Drumchapel, Castlemilk and Pollok • Our example is Red Road.
Large scale relocation however has been less successful. The high rise flats are/were not attractive for people to live in. Social problems remain. Many high rise blocks have now been demolished.
