K E Y C L U B Pediatric Trauma Program – CNH District Focus “The Kiwanis Cal-Nev-Ha Foundation works closely with our partner hospitals to provide funding to train pediatric doctors, nurses and first responders, to purchase much-needed pediatric medical equipment and to create or expand community outreach programs.” MRS Information and resources provided by the District Members Relations Committee 2011-2012
K E Y C L U B Pediatric Trauma Prevention • divisions fundraise for PTP before Fall Rally • they donate their funds at FRN/FRS by “auctioning” off their Lieutenant Governor • fundraising ideas: • restaurant fundraisers, dance, divisional gear sales, car washes, etc. • besides fundraising, clubs can help by • raising awareness, help sponsor local service events (by helping out BEE creative! K E Y C L U B March of Dimes “The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects,premature birth, and infant mortality. March of Dimes was founded by the United State's 32ndPresident, Franklin D. Roosevelt, in the fight against polio. After the discovery of the polio vaccine, March of Dimes focused its efforts to improve the health of babies and has been successful with the help and enthusiasm of many grassroots volunteers like the Kiwanis family.” MRS Information and resources provided by the District Members Relations Committee 2011-2012
