This guide helps Service Centers determine if unauthorized changes have been made in G1000 Configuration screens for the TBM850. If unauthorized changes are detected, contact Garmin Product Support for assistance in resetting the G1000 system.

Socata TBM850 G1000 Config Mode Screens • This guide will allow a Service Center to determine if unauthorized changes have been made in G1000 Configuration screens for the TBM850. If the G1000 system software version is 0719.01, and the screens do not match these shown, unauthorized changes may have been made. Contact Garmin Product Support for assistance if needed to reset the G1000 system. • This presentation is for reference only and does not replace any approved G1000 Service Literature instructions.

System Group Pages Audio Test box changes are not saved. Changes can be made in the Altitude Alerter box. Reload AIRFRAME config file to reset.
System Group Pages Optional equipment (ADF, DME, ChartView, TAWS, etc.) can be disabled by reloading certain config files. Reload per G1000 LMM to correct.
System Group Pages GIA and GFC Servo Fault logs can be deleted. Old Data can not be recovered after deletion.

GIA Group Pages Changes can be made. Reload the following config files: GIA 1, Selected Alt option, KTA810 (if equipped) and then “Update CFG” to reload Master Config Module. “CLR NV” softkey use will require GIA, Audio and GFC Cert Config files to be reloaded.
