  11. The Door of Mercy To begin the Year of Mercy Pope Francis has asked for a Door of Mercy to be opened in every Diocese In our school we will have our own Door of Mercy which will remind us that God is always there and waiting for us and that God’s mercy should be in our hearts every day.

  12. In our own Diocese Pope Francis is celebrating Mass at St Barnabas Cathedral on the 8th December when the symbolic Door of Mercy will be opened, you can see parts of the preparation for Mass on the link below http://www.bemerciful.co.uk/opening-liturgy/

  13. YEAR OF MERCY PRAYER Lord Jesus Christ, you have taught us to be merciful like the heavenly Father, and have told us that whoever sees you sees Him. Show us your face and we will be saved. You are the visible face of the invisible Father, let the Church be your visible face of forgiveness and mercy in the world. You willed that your ministers would feel compassion for those in ignorance and error: let everyone who approaches them feel loved, and forgiven by God, Amen
