College of Education Contact Your Assistant Dean to Learn More About… • EDU collaborates with the Center for Careers in Teaching to prepare future teachers. • Future teachers and education administrators are invited to serve as participants and leaders in the EDU student organizations. • Funds are available for students through the EDU Inter-Club Council and Associated Students Incorporated for such things as travel to conferences or to pay an honoraria for a guest speaker. • Scholarship funds are available to future teachers. 1) Apply for Financial Aid 2) Review the scholarship handbook online in January and 3) inform your FA counselor of your teaching goals. There are specific scholarships and loan assumptions for future teachers. See the Assistant Dean for specifics.
