PBIS Strategies • Positive Reinforcement • Catch them being good, praise for doing the right thing, teach what you expect from child, when they do it -celebrate • Highly individualized (different) for each child • Changes all the time • What does the child get motivated by? What does he/she reach for? and smiles at? Don’t assume stickers and video games work all the time. • Make sure you’re using something the child really likes
