How do you win against the weather? Tune-in to radio and TV reports - describing road and weather conditions. Equip your vehicle for conditions you might encounter – proper tyres, tow rope, jumper cables, torch, biscuits, drinking water. Have the position of your head lights, tail lights and fog lights checked before setting out. Too low, you won’t see much; too high, they cause a potentially dangerous glare for other drivers.
