Here are some stopping & parking offences: • Parking over yellow lines along the • edge of the carriageway. • Parking on sidewalks and grass which • is inconvenient to people walking through. • Blocking driveways and entrances • to buildings. • Double parking, leaving vehicles • unattended and blocking the exit for others. • Parking in disabled slots. • Parking in reserved and restricted areas.

Stopping at bus stops and taxi stands. Stopping over pedestrians crossing while queued in traffic. Stopping at shops and groceries near the roadway. Unofficially reserving parking spots.
Vehicle parking regulations Parking is prohibited at all loading docks, entrances to buildings, crosswalks, fire hydrants, places posted with signs, yellow curbs or anywhere the vehicle constitutes a safety or other hazard. Vehicles must be parked in marked and permitted parking spaces.

It is also damaging the pave way. • Do not stop on busy traffic lanes unless it is an emergency and make sure to turn your hazard lights on.
