  3. Pupil Premium Taken from the statements issued on the 15th November by the Department of Education, source EgovMonitor. It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium, allocated to schools per FSM pupil, is spent since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils within their responsibility. To monitor progress on attainment, new measures will be included in the performance tables that will capture the achievement of pupils covered by the Pupil Premium. From September 2012, we will also require schools to publish online information about how they have used the premium. This will ensure that parents and others are made fully aware of the progress and attainment of pupils covered by the premium.
  4. Pupil Premium As part of the financial funding review the method of calculating who is eligible for the pupil premium may be changed. Whilst this may increase the number of pupils eligible, it is likely the value per pupil will be reduced accordingly
  5. Pupil Premium SBS has considered some methods on how to best handle this group so that the progress can be tracked: Short term - Use Discover to create a Discover Dynamic group populated by those eligible for free school meals Long term - when the eligibility for pupil premium changes, use an SEN category and using this to populate a Discover Dynamic group
  6. Demonstrations Creating a Discover Dynamic group populated by those eligible for free school meals What do we mean by using a SEN category and using this to populate a Discover Dynamic group
