Landform-a natural feature of the Earth’s surface • Landforms, like natural resources, can determine where a group of people settle and then attempt to make a civilization. • The better a landform is for human settlement, the easier it is to develop…example, it is easier to build a city on a plain versus a mountain…it is easier to have a civilization on a peninsula versus an island… Landforms
