Physical features • Gray and white • About 2 tons • About 17 feet in long • It has no hair • The nose has scraps on it • It’s ears are practically on it’s tongue
Life span • The lifespan of a great white shark is about 25 years • No the shark is not endangered • The oldest shark in the world is about 30 years old • It has babies when it’s 20
Habitat • The great white shark lives along every single continent except for Antarctica • Mostly cold waters • the arctic waters are too cold for them • they would die in the freezing cold conditions
Weather and climate • when it snows the shark goes under the ice to keep warm • when it rains the shark does it’s usual thing • the temperatures are different in each continent because they live every were • they like warm waters so they love the tropical places
Prey and PredatorThe only predator to a shark is a human Their prey is mostly sealsif people keep catching them there might not be any sharks in the future
Behavior Great white sharks behavior is they go up to their prey and startle them and then attack. It does this to eat. They also behave by first bringing their prey to where they live and then attacking.
Reproduction 1. The great white shark usually has up to 5 babies2. Only two survives because the mom has nothing else to eat3. It has babies at the age of 20, but dies at the age of 254. The baby leaves at the age of two days old
Physical Adaptationsthe great white shark adapts to its environment by camouflagethey have blue backs because if your looking down at the water you see bluethey have white bottoms because if your looking up from the bottom of the ocean it looks white
