  2. Inledning om projektet Jag har valt att skriva om 4-takts motorer och specificerat på Yamahas nya Yz450f 12. Varför jag valde just den motorn beror på att jag tycker den har många enkla såväl som svåra tekniska lösningar inuti sig. 4-takts motorn var ett revolutionerande framsteg i världen. Den uppfanns 1876 av Nikolaus Otto och kallades först för Ottocykeln. Men heter nu 4-takts motor på grund av att processen från att bränslet åker in i motorn till att den går ut som koldioxid har 4 faser. Man använder motorn till Motorcyklar/ Fyrhjulingar, båtmotorer, elverk och bilar.

Motor Information Jag valde att skriva om 4-takts motorn hos en Yamaha Yz450f cross därför att man får med all ny teknik som används nu till att göra dem till en så bra tävlingshoj som möjligt.Yamaha Yz450f 2012: Typ: 449,7cc vattenkyld 4-takts motor med 4st Titanium ventiler.Transmission: 5 växlad med blöt koppling.Effekt: Ca 64hp
