  4. PREPARATION FOR THE EXCHANGE • Equipping the participants with the concept • Local meetings • Apply for funding • Presentation of the hosting pre-school • Education system

  5. LENGTH OF THE EXCHANGES • The exchanges last for two weeks • During each solar year there shall be two sessions of exchange in spring and autumn • During each session the exchanges shall take place consecutively

  7. The activity of the educators/teachers • During the two weeks, the participant will follow the tutor in her/his daily scheduled work with the aim of observing the various activities of the day, both indoor and outdoor, e.g.:

  8. Observing the various activities of the day, both indoor and outdoor, e.g.: • The welcoming of the children • The free play • The guided project or free activities • The meals • The rest • The meeting with the parents

  9. The process of observation in relation to: • The organization of the indoor and outdoor spaces and activities; • The furbishing; • The organization of time; • The assessment of the free play; • The relations among the children; • The relations between adults and children; • The planning of the activities, the methods of documentation and the evaluation of the services offered; • The relations among the adults (teacher to teacher interaction,and teachers / family relation)
