  2. Location & Time Citrus Elementary School 16041 Randall Ave. Fontana, CA 92335 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, 5/7/04 Located North of the 10 Freeway from Citrus, on the corner of Citrus & Randall.

  3. Housing • Many blocks included older homes directly across the street from newer track homes. East of the school were several low income dwellings.

  4. There were a minimum of 25 apartment buildings and two nursing homes. Condos

  5. Six Empty Fields

  6. One High School A few middle and elementary schools. Other Schools

  7. Several churches are located in the area, a few in Spanish. Churches

  8. Stores

  9. Truck Repair Shops & Vendors

  10. Dismantling auto shops Junkyards Truck repair shops Industrial shops Gas Stations Dealerships Battery Motors Family day cares Liquor stores Hair stylist Bail bonds Bakery Chiropractor Nails Income tax Businesses

  11. Other Businesses

  12. Miguel’s Mexican Food* 2 Carnicerias 2 Panderias 1 Taqueria Bakers Juan Pollo Mariscos & Tortas Food

  13. The area seemed very family oriented. Kids were playing at the playground. In the shopping centers, many families were seen. We saw vendors on the corner. People in the area

  14. Extracurricular Activities for Kids

  15. Many large intersections with stop signs versus stop lights. Many included five way stops. Railroad crossings in the area. Not many places for kids to hang out except for the skate park. Safety

  16. Dentist Doctor Large supermarket Pet store Vet Hotel/Motel Public Library Post office Travel agency Things missing in the area
