Its used in many ways fuels, gasses, and electricity • Solar energy is a renewable resource. • Sunlight can be changed into electrical energy through the use of solar cells or photovoltaic cells. • Solar energy can be used directly to heat buildings and to generate electrical energy.

  5. Petroleum Facts • Petroleum is also called crude oil. • More than 40% of the earths energy comes from petroleum products. • Petroleum is separated in to several kinds of products. • Crude oil is so valuable that its often called black gold. • Petroleum is a nonrenewable resource.
