So far what has been achieved? RC Movement platform • More coherent intervention between RC actors • In almost all the cases good coordination in sharing and updating information • Procedures are almost establish for everybody
Implementation of IFRC funds • Short list of consultant’s for big projects • Galle 1 phase 1 is on going • Rehab of WTP in Ampara contract is to be signed this month • Transitional shelter intervention (3 Districts) • Jaffna 02 project approved by RC Mov.
18 Tsunami resettlement sites of which 4 are SLRCS / ARC housing projects • 3,211 families (approx 12,504 beneficiaries), • 18 resettlement sites, • 1 Hospital, and • 5 Schools. Jaffna 02 project • Supply of water to 18 new resetlement areas in Jaffna
