What is the current situation? • Current risk of over development in Solihull MBC Green Belt areas • Blythe Valley Villages of Shirley, Cheswick Green, Dickens Heath and Tidbury Green are particularly at risk • A disproportionate amount of development • Infrastructure, access and flooding issues • Loss of a valuable Community amenities • Health and well being issues • Flawed planning process
Current Situation as per Local Plan Review – Supplementary Consultation • Allocation 13 has been removed • New adjacent site 26 • Site 11 TRW site could have been used for additional housing instead of car showrooms • Site 12 in effect connects Cheswick Green to Shirley • Site 4 connects Dickens Heath and Tidbury Green
