  3. Isaiah • Messianic Prophet • Coming of the Lord – 9:6 “a Child is born” • His Government – 9:7 “throne of David” • Virgin Birth – 7:14 “virgin conceive & bear a Son” • Suffering – 53:2-4 “despised & Rejected by men”

  4. Isaiah Chapter 2 • New Testament Age • “The last days” v.2 • Hebrews 1:1,2 “in these last days … spoken by His Son” • Fulfillment of Joel 2:28 • Acts 2:17 “in the last days”

  5. Isaiah Chapter 2 • Church of the Lord v.2 • “Mountain of the Lord’s House” to be established • Church = Lord’s House – 1 Timothy 3:15 • Church = Temple of God – 1 Corinthians 3:16

  8. New Law From Jerusalem • “Many people” all nations to go & learn the Will of the Lord • From Zion, Not Sinai will the Law go forth – Acts Chapter 2 Gospel preached in Jerusalem • Acts 8:1-4 “those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the Word.”

  9. A RULE OF PEACE • “Prince of Peace” Isaiah 9:6 • Bringing Peace to Men, & Turning Men to Peaceful Endeavors • Warfare for sure – 2Corinthians 10:3-5 – Spiritual in nature • Ephesians 2:14-17 all at peace in Christ

  10. Add to Kingdom/Church Upon Obedience • Acts 2:47 “Lord added to the church … those who were being saved.” • Colossians 1:12-14 “delivered us from the power of darkness & conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”

  11. Come TO The Kingdom Acts 2:36-38 Be Baptized SALVATION Confess Matthew 10:32 Repent Believe Acts 17:30 Enter INTO The Kingdom John 8:24 Hear Romans 10:17
