  3. Examples • “Vampires Suck” is a parody of the Twilight Series • Scary Movies series are parodies of all horror movies • “She’s the Man” is a parody Twelfth Night

  4. “Vampires Suck” • It’s an imitation of a particular series, the Twilightseries to produce a humorous effect. • Uses exaggeration to mock the plot, characters, and absurdity of the Twilight series • Overstressing the fact of Bella’s depressed face and that vampires sparkle according to the series and are extremely pale
