Present and Past Perfect. By: Megan Mentuck and Ariella Nardizzi. Present Perfect- “ have verbed ” use: same as in english. Haber He Hemos Has Habéis Ha Han Then take ending off of second verb and add ado – ar ido – er/ir. Examples: We have studied for the test.

  2. Present Perfect- “have verbed”use: same as in english Haber He Hemos Has Habéis Ha Han • Then take ending off of second verb and add ado – ar ido – er/ir

  3. Examples: We have studied for the test. Hemos estudiado para el examen. You all have ran for 20 minutes. Vosotros habéis corrido por veinte minutos. Regular Present Perfect

  4. Irregular Present Perfect abrir – abierto ver - visto decir – dicho volver - vuelto describir – descrito caer – caído descubrir – descubierto creer - creído escribir – escrito leer - leído hacer – hecho oír - oído morir – muerto reir - reído poner – puesto sonreir - sonreído resolver – resuelto traer - traído romper – roto

  5. Irregular Present Perfect Examples: I have broken the lamp. Yo he roto la lámpara. We have discovered the money. Nosotros hemos descubierto el dinero.

  6. Past Perfect- “had verbed”use: same as in english Haber Había Habíamos Habías Habíais Había Habían • Then take off ending of second verb and add ado – ar ido – er/ir

  7. Regular Past Perfect Examples: They had eaten the pancakes. Ellos habían comido las panqueques. I had walked to the pool. Yo había a la piscina.

  8.   9. Irregular Past Perfect Examples: You had believed the teacher. Tú habías creído el profesor. They had made the project. Ellos habían hecho el proyecto.
