Who? • Regional liaisons between the CB and higher education/public education stakeholders • Special Advisors who • actively collaborate with P16 stakeholders • are knowledgeable of CCRS and other college readiness initiatives • are knowledgeable of regional CCR efforts
Who? • Nine from Institutions of Higher Education • Representing all regions of the state • Representing 2-year and 4-year institutions • Representing metropolitan and rural areas • One from ESC 20
What? • Provide a network to bridge between the state and regional interests • Increase CRSA expertise in state initiatives, effectiveness as liaison • Increase awareness of and input into new initiatives • Increase stakeholder “buy-in” • Leverage various CCRI
Regional CRSAs would: • Meet with CB staff 4 times a year to receive information & provide input into new initiatives re: • College and Career Readiness • Developmental Education • Adult Basic Education • P-16 Councils • Other important topics that support Closing the Gaps • Hold at least 4 meetings for CRSAs in their region
Regional CRSAs would: • Develop and implement action plans leading to increased curriculum articulation • Offer presentations on CCR initiatives to statewide and regional groups • Work with regional IHE faculty involved in statewide CCRI Faculty Collaboratives • Assist regional groups to refine and further their CCRS implementation strategies
Working with ESCs • How can the CB assist in the collaboration between ESCs and Regional CRSAs • CCRS Marketing Campaign • What should the focus of the campaign be from the ESCs perspective? • How can we engage with ESCs in the campaign? • Who are the key people who need to know about the CCRS? • And what do they need to know?
