  2. Definitions: types of data Categorical Data: data that are types not numbers. Example: colours, foods, clothes,etc. Continuous Data: data that can have any numerical data within a specific infinite (non-ending) or finite (ending) range. Example: height of a person, weight Discrete Data: Data that are distinct and can be counted (whole numbers). Example: The number of people who like pizza.
