Purposes of UniSIS Creation • integration of information-statistical resources, contributing to their effective usage for policy making and forecast purposes • providing users with official statistical information in the electronic form • providing of official statistical information to the Government information systems 3

UniSIS Functioning Principles • timeliness, accessibility and transparency of official statistical information • unification of formats and technologies for presentation of official statistical information • useof uniform methodology for providing metadata formation by authorities of official statistical accounting • applicationof uniform regulatory and reference information, all-Russian classifications of technical, economic and social information • commonorganizational and methodological support • use of electronicdigital signature to ensure reliability of information • integration with other state informational systems 4
