  3. Mise – En – Scene • Props- Umbrella- Keys- Tea Cup- Kettle • Weather- Thunder & Rain (Pathetic Fallacy) – using diegetic sounds • Low Key Lighting • Clothing- School Uniform- Casual clothes for a father

  4. Conversation • Talking about weather • ‘Shall we go out for dinner tonight’ • Conversation is led on sofa Person B - ‘Oh is it raining outside? – you look like a drowned rat?!’ Person A - ‘Ah, thanks Dad, you always try to make a fool out of me’ Person B - ‘I’m only joking, shall I make you a cuppa tea?’ Person A - ‘yeah, that would be lovely – but I guess I will be making it’

  5. Thoughts on shots • Dolly – side or behind character walking to the front door • Cut – match on action on opening of door • Character B is already sat down on the sofa - Over shoulder shot, looking at character A (Blur the door) • Last shot is in the kitchen, whilst the daughter is making a cup of tea. A male boy of the same age, is in the garden looking in at her
