  2. Somewhere in the Darkness is about a boy named Jimmy Little who does not know his father . He lives with a lady named Mama Jean in Harlem .

  3. His father,Crab, comes to get him so he can go to Chicago to live with him.

  4. Mama Jean doesn’t think it’s a good idea for him to go because his father has been gone for most of Jimmy’s life .

  5. What Jimmy doesn’t know is that Crab has been in jail most of Jimmy’s life . He also doesn’t know that Crab has escaped from prison.

  6. Jimmy and his dad decide to go to Chicago. They travel more than 1000 miles. When they hit the town of Forrest, they get pulled over by a cop. He asks them where they are going. Crab tells them Forrest.

  7. The cops follow them to make sure they were going where they said they were going. Find out what happens next by reading the book.
