What are the parts of a persuasive essay? • Beginning (or intro. paragraph) - use a hook, leading to a thesis statement containing your opinion and three reasons to back it up. • Middle (or 3 body paragraphs) – three paragraph to provide support and back up each of the reasons for your opinion • End ( or conclusion paragraph) – After acknowledging the opposite point of view, re-states thesis and tells the reader what action to take Copying permitted
