Target Population According to research poor young adult pregnant women and parents of Children under six years old with the same ethnic and financial group are most vulnerable to lead poisoning.
Plan Plan: To teach poor young adult pregnant women and parents of Children under six years old from this same ethnic and financial group who live in the city about the importance to be aware of lead, it's danger and how to prevent it.
Readiness to learn?????? Since they are poor, they probably do not have the opportunity to receive higher education, so in that case we think their learning ability will be limited.

Resources Research: The research we did on lead poisoning helped us develop our population and teaching plan. According to Zabel and Castellano’s research, “African Americans are affected by lead poisoning more than the other races”. Based on the research from University of Pennsylvania, “It was found that the risk of lead poisoning was 17% higher in children who did not have breakfast and this is because lead is absorbed by the body less easily when other nutrients from food are available to take its place” (Wellescent). Furthermore, the university of Cincinnati “Confirmed that inner city children face the greatest risk of lead exposures” (Wellescent).
