Japanese Internment • During the War Japanese American were denied their Civil Rights • 111,000 Japanese Americans lived on the West Coast, mostly Central and Northern California • After Pearl Harbor Japanese community was victim to wide spread racism. • Executive Order 9066: Evacuated J.A to Internment camp for “their protection.” Manzanar
