Intro Activity – think, pair, share • Review the Ted Turner article, your summary of his main point, & Friday’s webquest and then, on a half sheet of paper, answer the following questions… • What problems does Ted Turner see in the media today? • Why does it seem odd that he, of all people, is making this claim? • Capture two key quotes from his article – what makes each quote significant?

  5. The Web Quest • What is the role of the FCC? • In what ways does it seem to be failing in its job? • What about the media ownership exploration in your webquest surprised you? Why?
