Parts of an Annotated Bibliography Citation information So your reader can find the same resource again (this includes the author, the year published, the date you accessed, etc) Summary So your reader knows what the resource is generally about The value/validity of the resource So your reader knows why this resource is worthwhile and trustworthy How you will use the resource?
Citation Information This is a rule-following game You must cite all of the necessary information in the right order, with the proper punctuation

Practice MLA citations • You will receive one resource (a book, magazine article, website, etc.) • Your task is to write an MLA citation for that resource • Your MLA citation • Should be written on your own sheet of paper • Should be double spaced • Should have a hanging indent (indent every line but the first)
