This research project investigates the experiences of LGB (lesbian, gay, bisexual) individuals with disabilities and the professionals who work with them. It aims to understand the challenges faced by this community and identify ways to improve support and inclusivity. The study utilized qualitative methods, including online questionnaires distributed to LGB individuals with disabilities and professionals in supportive roles. The results highlight the need for increased visibility, accessible services, and the promotion of disability culture. The research provides valuable insights for professionals and advocates in this field.

Results • It is possible to conduct researches on this issue in Italy • Optimistic perspective in professionals and LGB patients • Professionals are interested in these themes and want to know more
Results • Privacy of disable people is stressed when they are LGB: professionals that had no idea how to deal with it wanted to talk with families, colleagues, etc • LBG patients suggest LGB associations to do more: accesible places, sign language interpreters, escort services, promotion of disability culture..
