  5. WebFile Manager – Status • We are very low on space available for storing files • We are unable to increase storage on our current hardware • We are purchasing equipment needed to connect to SAN Storage

  6. WebFile Manager – Best Practices • Web File Manager should not be used to archive files no longer linked on the site – that should be done on agency network drives • If you remove a link to a file, remember to go and delete the file • Routinely run an orphan file report and remove them from the File Manager (we are still working on getting a functioning orphan report tool)

  7. WebFile Manager – Videos Video Size No bigger than 50 MB Contact PMG for options Don’t ever upload a video that is not from a trusted source Must be Work Related Acceptable Use of State Systems Policy

  8. WebFile Manager – Folders • Review of two methods to upload to folders in the File Manager • Single file upload to a folder • Multiple file upload to a folder

  9. DSF Feature (eAlerts) • Due to the high volume of mail server traffic, it is a strain to the system to process eAlerts during regular business hours • Sent after 5pm unless time sensitive • Use “Specific Date”

  13. Google Analytics – Training • We held first Training Session on February 9, 2011 • Materials can be found here: http://www.ct.gov/cpi/gatraining1 • If you attended, please fill out the survey which can be found with the materials • Future Training Sessions will be booked as determined by user interest
