  2. A System of Success! • SYSTEM - an assemblage or combination of things or parts forming a complex or unitarywhole • KPREP testing is one measure of our school system

System Combination of parts • Board of Education • Departments – transportation, finance, food service, health services, human resources, facilities, special education, curriculum and instruction, technology, learning support, attendance, and public relations • Roles – teachers, counselors, family resource, therapists, coaches, monitors, secretaries, clerks, paraeducators, custodians, adminstration

RESULTS of a GREAT SYSTEM • 21stin the state out of 173 school districts based upon the 2014-15 state assessment results. • The district received a “Distinguished” ranking for the second year in a row and ranks 4th in Northern Kentucky! Campbell County is the highest ranking county district in the region! • Campbell County High School ranked 32nd out of 228 high schools in the state and was classified “Distinguished/Progressing”.Named a “School of Distinction”-the highest recognition for any school!

RESULTS of a GREAT SYSTEM • Donald Cline Elementary Grant’s Lick Elementary ReileyElementary received a “Distinguished”classification. • Crossroads Elementary received a “Proficient/Progressing”classification. • Campbell County Middle School received a “Proficient” classification. • Campbell Ridge Elementary is above the state average for Elementary Schools.

  7. How do we keep improving? • 97th percentile in Kentucky (on 2013 baseline) • School presentations throughout the year will share progress and strategies for improvement.

Calculation is the same across the state. EXAMPLE • Program Review – Target 89.7 State Target 69 • Actual Score – 88.9 State Actual Score 78.8 • CCS did not meet target. State met target.
