ROK Solid is a non-toxic, granular hydro-carbon remediation system. ROK Solid adsorbs (not to be confused with absorbing), hydro-carbons, meaning that hydro-carbons cling to the outside of the granular particles, not to be confused with absorbing. There are two types ROK Solid, a dry granular system, and ROK Solid XS, a wet or slurry system. • ROK Solid cleans up: • Oil and other hydro-carbons ROK Solid Application Instructions, ROK SOLID Items and Tools Required for Installation None required for ROK Solid
Application Instructions Typically ROK Solid can be dispensed by hand. For best results, use 1 part ROK Solid to 8 parts hydro-carbon spill. Step I Distribute ROK Solid onto spill in a uniform pattern. Step II Continue to dispense ROK Solid onto spill Until entire surface of spill is covered. Allow ROK Solid coated hydro-carbon spill To adsorb for 5 minutes § § Allow a minimum of 5 minutes for adsorbing. Largerspills may require longer times.
Step III Once adsorbing has taken place, ROK Solid will begin to take on the color appearance of the spill. At this time, agitate the ROK Solid coated spill to ensure that the complete spill is contained by the ROK Solid. Step IV ROK Solid coated hydro-carbon spill can easily be cleaned, using a common broom and dustpan. Ensure to dispose of hydro-carbon according to local, federal, and state regulations.
