Parts of a Cattail • Shoot- bottom of plant • Stem (pith)- green cylinder structure • Leaves- somewhat flat and green • Cattail- brown structure at top
LAB RULES • DO NOT TOUCH THE CATTAIL! • Points will be taken off if your seen touching the cattail or spreading cotton. • IF there is cotton in the tub…try to contain all cotton in the tubs (as much as possible). • Follow expectations of class. • Quietly working in a cooperative manner with everyone in your lab group. • Complete lab sheet as a group. • Only work and talk with people in your group.
