How does it work? (paper-based) Careerforce creates a new paper-based assessment in The Tool every three months. This is downloaded from The Tool as a PDF document. The PDF is emailed to a designated literacy coordinator in each company. The literacy coordinator forwards this email to the trainers / assessors within the company.
How does it work? (paper-based) • The assessment is ‘non-adaptive’ – it doesn’t adapt the questions to the learner’s responses like the online version • It has a range of questions from Step 2 – Step 5 on The Progressions • Careerforce only uses the ‘snapshot’ assessment (around 15 – 17 questions). • A full diagnostic assessment has about 30 questions. • It takes about 20 – 30 minutes from start to finish. • You can go back over questions and, unfortunately you can • skip questions. Unanswered questions or incompletely • answered questions don’t score.
