Our Vision for our school… • Each student can achieve at high levels. • Each student wants to learn and all parents want their child to be successful in school. • It is our goal to focus our instruction so each student is a priority. • We must put a spotlight on our at-risk students as we plan our instruction in order to shrink the achievement gap. • Our instruction must be based on high rigor, positive relationships, student engagement and preparing the 21st century learner. • We are here for the students. Our decisions must be student focus. • We are in this together – we all learn from each other and support the goals of every class. We do not work in isolation.

Career & College Readiness In grades 6-8 Ramp-Up to Readiness lessons emphasize helping student develop clear and compelling goals for life after high school and to understand that the effort they exert today will greatly affect their ability to achieve those goals tomorrow. Exploring Personality Types (Holland’s Code- Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, Conventional) Academic, Personal, Career, & College SMART goals
