  3. REGISTRATION TIMELINE • February 6th -7pm-Incoming Freshmen Parent Night @ HHS Auditorium. Hope you attended! • February 25TH -26TH -students receive registration materials and presentation. • February 27th– 8th grade lunch hour High School Visit from clubs and classes. • March 1st -Q and A session/Make-up registration-HJHS Library, 7:30-9:30 am. • March 4th - All registration forms due to Jr. High English Teacher.

  8. HOW DO I EARN A CREDIT? Semester Course- earns .5 credit per semester. Must receive passing mark to earn credit. Year-long Course- earns .5 credit per semester, 1.0- credit for the whole year Must receive passing mark to earn credit

  10. CLASS PROGRESSION What if I don’t pass a course? Semester Course: Can repeat course for grade change. Year long Course: May continue to next semester of specific course and make up failed semester at later date. Or Must make up failed semester before progressing to next part of course. (depending on specific course)

  25. IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTE **It is very important that you complete the registration paperwork completely and accurately. Your choices create the master schedule/classes offered. **Please note that elective changes will NOT be allowed if you receive the elective or alternate classes you request. This is for the entire year! **It is imperative that you wisely select your courses. If you do not select alternates, or complete registration form, it will be completed for you by a counselor. **These will not be subject to change

Summer School June 3rd-June 27th • @ Highland High School – students must provide their own transportation to summer school. • Cost $160 per semester ($25 fee for cancelled or class change requests) • Registration will be available online only at www.gilbertschools.net starting March 1st. • There are limited classes for incoming freshman, you do not need Counselor approval.
