12 DEAD AT FT. HOOD • Yesterday at 12 people were killed and 30are injured at one of the largest US military complexes. • (Fort Hood, Texas) • Gunmen was killed • Killers name was Major MalikNadal Hassan • Happened near an area were troops go to get vaccinations and prepare before they are deployed.
THE YANKEES WIN!!!!!!! • On Wednesday the Yankees won there 27th World Series title beating the Philadelphia Phillies 7-3. • Yankees won in 6 games
THE GOP SWEEP • This past Tuesday elections occurred in four states – NY, NJ, CT, VA • Governor elections for New Jersey and Virginia • First time since 1993 a Republican has won Governor in NJ • Three positions in Virginia were filled by GOP members. • Is this a warning sign for the President?
Pilots Appeal License Revocation • Wednesday the two Northwest Airlines pilots have filed appeals for their licenses being taken away. NOW WHY DID THEY GET THERE LICENSES AWAY?
NORTHWEST FLIGHT 188 • On October 21st two Northwest Airlines pilots got there licenses revoked because the plane overshoot its destination (Minneapolis St. Paul) by 150 miles • Flight 188 was an Airbus A320 jet with 144 people on board going from San Diego to Minneapolis • ATC tried to contact the aircraft during a 91 minutes period but there was no response
DUMBO GETS HIT BY SUV • Yesterday an SUV sideswiped an elephant in Oklahoma • The elephant had escaped from a nearby circus • The elephant or passengers were not hurt
