Salary Compensation View • Designed for Full-Time, Salary Based Contracts • Ability to display Current Salary within the Position • Ability to review Faculty Load factors extracted from Student • Can support multiple contracts • Overload payment can be constructed with Load factors • Overload can be associated with Instructional or Non-Instructional activities • Links allow the display of: • The Job Detail information • Workload breakdown • Course Details

Course Compensation View • Calculations on Course Based Contracts • Two-tiered View – Summary and Detail • Ability to assign Increments to course • Ability to view/change Faculty Level for Base Rates • Computes based upon pre-established rules • Links for Course Information, Course Calculation Detail and Job Detail

Job Detail Page • Calculated during the Extract Process • Resides with each contract and accessible from Salary or Course View • Dynamically changes when adjustments are made • Determines Primary, Secondary and Overload • Determines Payroll date span of the assignment • Calculates Contract Pay Periods • Maintains Job Detail, Default Earnings, and Labor Distributions

  17. Administrator can override any pay component –System will store and report calculated and overridden.

  18. Accounts determined from Schedule Override, Current Position Assignment, or Position Budget. Multiple courses assigned to the same position, Labor Distributions are distributed in proportion to the course value.

Additional Self Service Pages Lock/Unlock View for Completed Records • ‘Lock / Unlock’ • Used in Faculty Compensation to freeze data in preparation to apply the job assignment • Users can view data only • Prevents users from making changes • Hierarchical - Users with access to a predecessor organization may unlock and update data • Only locked records can be applied to NBAJOBS

Processing and Reporting Job Apply Process - PEPFCAP • Mass Apply process run through Job Submission • Selects Faculty records in a ‘Locked’ status • Utilizes Jobs API function to edit and insert records • Parameters: • Term • Report mode (edit & validate) or Process mode (edit & update) • Suppress ‘Warning’ message option

  24. Processing and Reporting Job Apply Process • Output report details Employee, Job Assignment information, and Diagnostic Messages • Totals at the conclusion will report Number of Employees selected, Number of Employees Updated, and Number of Employees with ‘Errors’

  25. Processing and Reporting UDC Features • BDMS – ability to attach contract document to Faculty member view; • Workflow event – an event is created when Administrator locks in faculty compensation (for possible incorporation of email notification workflow).
