A Look Back

Discover the journey from the inception to the success of the Environmental Education Science Leadership Institute. With over 1900 students from 8 Virginia Beach schools and 6 Chesapeake schools, and 65 volunteers, the programs at Glenwood Elem, Tallwood Elem, and other schools have made an impact. From Autumn Fun Farm Days to Winter Times and Spring Excitement, the year was filled with engaging activities like the Envirothon Program, STEM Nights, and Reading in the Classroom. Honoring 20 years of service, we thank our partners, volunteers, and Board of Directors for supporting our K-12 educational programs in environmental and agriculture studies. A wonderful year comes to a close, marking a successful chapter for Virginia Dare SWCD.
